Budget Car Rental

Really helpful staff once you're there in person, but they don't answer phonecalls in advance if you have questions about your reservation.

I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the expedited service to obtain my rental. In and out of the office in less than 5 mins. Same thing for the drop off.

I am giving three stars because of how pleasant and helpful Lucy was when I picked up and dropped off my rental. As far as the rental goes I was unhappy. I picked up my rental and didn’t think to check the oil and washer fluid (rookie mistake). 100 miles into my drive the sensor stating I needed an oil change because oil was at 10 percent came on. I also had dead bugs on my window from driving and no washer fluid (annoying). By the time I made it to my destination oil was at 1 percent. I called budget customer service and was informed to go to my nearest budget location to change the vehicle (it was 45 mins away). Something told me to call before going (thank God I did). I spoke to at the St. Augustine location. He was rude, I was on hold for like 30 mins and he dismissed me by saying he did not have a large vehicle. He checked my vehicle number after I bagged him and said the oil did not need to be changed someone forgot to reset the computer. I am not a mechanic and this situation was frustrating and a waste of time. Upon drop off they did give me a small credit for the inconvenience, but I would had rather not have this issue in the first place. Again the 3 stars was given for the customer service and ease at pick up and drop off at the Stamford location.

Very poor service lady in the front was either high or drunk didnt want to give me my rental .... i was also overcharged on a $200 hundred rental the lady in the front wanted to hold additional 400 on my card Very bad service I hope Budget gets better with prices and employees

I love the cars, and SUVs. The counter check in, Tracy, and Lercy, and Bertha are like family. Their knowledge, professionalism, and kindness, are above and beyond!
