Hertz Car Rental

They had the only vehicle we could find to rent at the last minute near Glacier, and it wasn’t cheap! The office is a little odd in a metal building where they have more transportation businesses. However, the service was great and the car worked out well. I left my glasses when I returned it, and they sent them back to me without a charge or hesitation.

Very confusing. We drove around for 10 minutes trying to find the office. No indication that the office is actually inside the train station depot.nnAlso, the door was locked. Not sure if the office isn’t staffed due to covid or other reason. In any case, we asked around at the museum attendee next door (which was open) and she said there could be a key drop off. Ultimately we called Hertz customer service... and then someone just showed up now!

Thanks Dale. Had a wonderful trip renting your car of beautiful winter Montana. Couldn't have done it without you and your service. Love your location of the car service and love what you do. Hope others realize what a great family business is.

I recently had a reservation at this location at a specific time in the evening, and showed up 30 minutes early. Over the course of the next 90 minutes, when I obtained another form of transportation away from the train depot and left, no one arrived at the office. There was a phone number to call in case no one was at the desk, and I called it and was told by the person that I talked to that they would attempt to contact the local office personnel, but apparently they were not able to successfully do this (because otherwise maybe someone would've shown up).nPlease, do not rent from this location if at all possible. Furthermore, I contacted Hertz through their customer support email after this happened, and received no reply whatsoever.

Didn't know this was right here at the depot..many cars here..out side office is near by..
