Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The website shows availability for a 12 passenger van which accommodates 12 passengers and 7 luggage; and a 15 passenger van which accommodates 15 passengers and 2 luggage. These are the same price, I assume same length but the 12 passenger is minus the last row of seats allowing storage for luggage. Since there was going to be 8 of us, I booked the 12 passenger (3 months in advance) because we would have 8 pieces of luggage, one large and one small cooler, beach bags and several small bags with food and snacks etc. 12 days prior to pickup I visited the agency to make certain they had my reservation and would definitely have available a 12 passenger for me, explicitly advising that I needed the van with room for luggage. I was assured it would be there. The day before pickup I again visited this agency to make sure there would not be any last minute glitch or surprise at pickup time. I was again assured they had it. I asked if it was there and if I could look at it now. Brooke brought it out of the garage and to my dismay it was the 15 passenger van. Indeed there were 15 seats and I don’t know how they could claim room for two pieces of luggage, as the back row of seats was right up against the back door! I guess you were to put the two pieces of luggage in the walking space. I nearly hit the roof at this. The seats were very high and close to the ceiling so you could NOT fit any luggage whatsoever up over the back seat to utilize it for luggage. After begging for 90 minutes for what I booked, and consistently being told there is no such vehicle within their local area, I stated that was exactly why I had checked in advance of pickup nearly two weeks earlier to make sure they would have what I ordered, or make sure they get that vehicle from another location. Why was I assured they would when they should have known it was not even available? Ultimately I was told that the company sold all of the 12 passenger vans and never replaced them. Ultimately I had to settle for it but what a fiasco it was trying to fit all in. The cooler could only be put in the row behind the driver because it couldn’t fit anywhere else. People had to sit scattered and with luggage wherever and however we could squeeze them in. It was extremely difficult packing to go and to return home again.nTo their credit, they did offer me a 10% discount. Later Austin offered me another 5%. This sure didn’t make the trip any easier but at least it was somewhat of a financial help. I asked why they still show the 12 passenger vans available if in fact they are not even available. They had no response to this. Even now after the fact I look on line and you are still showing this vehicle as available! Makes no sense!

I was recently traveling from New York to North Carolina and found myself with a broken down car full of my world. Enterprise made it so easy to rent a replacement vehicle with no problem dropping it off in North Carolina. The Dodge grand caravan was beautiful great to drive and everyone l dealt with at enterprise was awesome!! Thanks for your help and kindness during a very stressful time!! Fran

This place deserves 5 star. I want to thank both the branch manager Kyle and the female driver. They both went far and beyond, picking me up 20 miles away (in the middle of nowhere) and got me a rental car 1 way to Chicago. It was a pleasant experiences, great customer service and staffs are all nice. Thank You!ud83dude01

Booked the rental well in advance of our beach vacation. Vehicle was available and ready to go on the day of pick up. When I picked up the rental, I was informed that they require an additional $200 security deposit. Since when???TOTALLY unplanned additional expense!! They will NOT accept a debit or bank card for payment. You must use a credit card. I then had to make a credit card payment to assure enough available credit on my card to pay for the rental ...come on Enterprise!!! You can’t post this information SOMEWHERE ON YOUR WEBSITE?!? Renter beware!!! Hidden expenses abound. All I’m saying is with everything going on in the world today and the fact that I’ve rented in the past with NO issues, I would think a little courtesy is in order. A “Heads up” before I showed up. Had I known this was a policy, I would have been able to plan accordingly.ud83dudc4dud83cudffc

I was going to give zero stars, because the price quote of the rental which our insurance was paying for which should have been 28.99 per day... Turned out to be 39.99 plus $2.00 per day plus 2%tax plus 6% sales tax .. And a SURPRISE BILL ON OUR CREDIT CARD....UGHHHHnSo I gave them **5 STARS** because the manager refunded our CREDIT CARD..... THANK GOD because money has never been so tight........ and the Employee who gave my husband that quote was honest and admitted that , that was the quote she gave him... Thank God there are still some honest people out there and that people still care about each other and want to help ....... Because this Covid-19 has us all squeezing lemonade out of apples...nHAPPY Thanksgiving....
