National Car Rental

This national is easy to get to when you come off the plane. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Kristen made my day by helping me straighten out my reservation. And she did it with a great smile. The car was super clean and it’s easy to get out of the parking lot and onto the highway. Thank you National!

I recently rented a car from Boise, ID airport to Ann Arbor, MI airport via the National Car Rental website. When I picked up the car, there were issues with my selection and I did not get satisfactory results from the Representative at the Boise airport. After delivering the car, I contacted Corporate Customer Service who took care of my issue very efficiently. The 5 Star Rating is for the Corporate Customer Service Representative.

Vehicle was brought out to our plane by the staff at Western Aviation in Boise, ID. Staff is great, they unloaded our bags form the plane a placed in the rental car. Paperwork was ready and price was competitive. The down side of the particular vehicle is a previous renter smoked in the vehicle, each time we got in the car in the 90 degree weather in took 5 minutes or so to bring the level of smoke smell down to a bearable level. I mentioned to the staff at Western Aviation that the National Rental office needed to replace the cabin air filter. They said they would relay the message.

I travel a lot for work and I get a rental every time I do travel. I really enjoy national and the sister company enterprise. The only concern is that every location is different. I am considered executive level but, this status is only recognized at some locations. My company purchases a standard rental and I usually get up graded for free but, this is not the case at some locations. I like having a truck or suv but, some locations require you to book a truck or suv in advance and there is no way of doing that unless you purchase that type of rental, which would defeat the free up grade perk. How can I show that I am eligible for any vehicle with the purchase of a standard vehicle so that I don't run into this issue anymore?

I was extremely impressed with the customer service I was given with this car rental! One of the tires had a small damaged area and National immediately gave me a different car, no hassles and no wait. Then my doctor appointment went over time and National was extremely good to accommodate my schedule change! Best experience by far with a car rental company!
