Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Flying into Boise is a piece of cake. Getting from our gate to baggage claim was just as easy. The car rental counters are near by as are the actual vehicles and getting your car is quick and easy. The only reason I didn't give a full five stars is returning the vehicle is not as easy. Exits from the freeway are marked but once you get off the freeway there are few well marked directions leading you to rental return as at many airports. The signs that are there are on the smallish size and the route is not particularly intuitive. Once you get to the lot Enterprise speeds you through in their normal efficient fashion. Our car was great, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient and we were on our way in no time at all. By way of update, we travel to Idaho fairly regularly and are totally satisfied with our Enterprise rental cars. I have never had to wait for more than a few moments to get our car. As mentioned, it remains a bit vague and confusing trying to figure out how to get to rental return.

Great experience with this Enterprise. They upgraded us to a compact SUV which turned out great for our trip. Car was a brand new 2020 Eco Sport and was great. Staff was quick and nice. Pick up and return were both smooth. We had a little trouble figuring out how to work the car because it was so new but the lady at the stand was happy to help.

I was browsing online and saw that their cheapest rental was only around $360 for a week. Not bad at all, but I couldn't seem to reserve a rental online. No problem though. I went to this location at the airport, were I was shocked because the price came out to over $640. Almost double what the car was listed for online. Way overpriced. And that's for their cheapest rental. The car is brand new, only 900 miles on it and the employee was super friendly and helpful. But again, super expensive for the cheapest rental they have, and this was my only chose for my drive to Sun Valley. But if you don't mind the price, go for it.

All experiences previously have been awesome. This time? Not so much. When we arrived to pick up the car - were notified we had one option in the class of car we had chosen. Time being a thing - we took it. Get to the car - it’s not clean - it’s got dings and scuffs. Who knew when the floor mats get dirty - they just throw them away? Well I do now! And cars no longer come with CD players? I suppose that’s understandable. But it still sucks! I feel as if I paid for a premium car and got a basic model. My expressed issues were met with a basic “that’s how it is now”. We won’t be back to this location.

Arrived in Boise, ID and the gate agent was very friendly, welcomed me to Boise and asked how the flight was. After some small talk, she checked me in and then asked if I wanted a Jeep or Mitsubishi. Not really knowing either car, I asked her opinion and after asking me a few questions I chose the Jeep Cherokee Limited. So glad I did! What a great car. It did only have 3500 miles on it so it brand new. Very clean, drove very comfortably. Drove it to McCall, around Payette Lake and up to the mountains for some day hikes. When my trip was over, the gentleman who checked us in, again was very friends and asked how everything went. He walked around the car with me asked if anything was went wrong with car during our rental and then printed out my receipt. We were on our way into the airport with in five minute. He was very efficient. I was able to use Enterprise through my job (in education) and surpassed all three major companies for price and availability. We'll be back to rent for sure.
