Hertz

We had to rent a car recently for local travel and were able to book online with no issue ahead of time. Days later we went into the office to pick up our car and were informed that if we used a debit card our credit score would need to be checked. We were never informed on the site or the confirmation email that a credit card would be needed to rent a car for the day or something as ludicrous as a credit check would be preformed. We left the Hertz with no vehicle, no hit to our credit history and will not be returning in the future.

Zero Stars!! Only one because I had to. I never did fulfill my rental form them. Booked online with debit card no issues till I arrived to pick it up. Told cannot rent with a debit card on the day of pickup! What... Enterprise you can, Avis you can, but not Hertz???
