Hertz

My experience with this location was top notch. They gentleman there was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location if your needing to rent a vehicle.

I needed a rental while my car was getting fixed and they got me set up fast and easy. They even arranged to have me picked up since my car had been towed to the shop. Friendly and professional staff.

I booked a reservation on priceline where it said there is no credit card required. Is Priceline lying or Hertz? Or does it really matter because they work together to advertise?nnLuckily I was smart enough to call before going where I was told I do need a credit card. Don’t know if I was being discriminated against or lied to but either way it’s pretty unethical.

This might actually be the worst experience I've had with any company about anything in several years. I booked a car at the Grey's Ferry location for $31 for day to run some errands that I couldn't do by public transit. The day before, I received a call that they were going to be closed that day for a personal emergency and that I'd need to pick up the car at the Hertz on Essington Ave. I realized after that that location is difficult to get to by public transit, so I called both Hertz and Expedia to see if I could pick up at a Center City location instead. No luck. I should have canceled at that point and picked a different company, even though it would have been more expensive, but I decided for the price of $31 it was worth the inconvenient location. Then I showed up, and my reservation could not be found, and I had to pay an additional $45. (Similar to what I would have paid in Center City for a different company.) After a long wait on hold, the Hertz customer service folks agreed that they would refund the $31, but refused to refund the $45. I reserved a car for $31! I agreed to pick it up at an inconvenient location only because it was $31! I'm currently trying to dispute the charge with my credit card company due to the false advertising. I'd never use Hertz again!

Amazing staff. Thanks so much for the woman who worked here the 08/11/2019. The car was new and perfect. If we'll come back in Philly, we'll rent a car here.
