Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Little bit of a wait because of Covid changes, and there only being 1 staff member working. Once he was at the desk, he was very helpful and kind. I was dropped off by my bf, and it was downpouring bad. In order for me to get my rental I would have had to walk in that rain for over 5 minutes. He offered to pick it up for me with a separate vehicle, and bring it to the front doors, thus making it so he would effectively have no vehicle to operate from if he had to help another customer.

I used the Enterprise app to book a car for the next day using points. The app showed the cost breakdown, where points were applied and how, if anything, I’d have a $0.72 balance to pay for some fee. Looked good.nnI get to the rental location, and the only thing they see in the system is a full price rental, no points applied. Time was running short to make it to our event, so I said I’d just take it up with the 800 number and customer service, as I know the local branch generally can’t fix a points rental discrepancy.nnAfter working my way through customer service up to the escalations, I learned that Enterprise does not allow a points rental to be fixed after the fact. The rep also said that she recommends using the website, not the app, and that National’s Emerald program has a way to fix a rental that should have been a points rental, but, alas, not Enterprise. So much for them being under the same umbrella.nnThat’s the portion for the corporate level. Local branches work differently, but the one I used yesterday decided that instead of delivering my vehicle on time, they could be 45 minutes late and go to the body shop to deal with another customer instead of getting my vehicle on time. That factored in to being rushed to get to our appointment and not having time to deal with the points rental problem. Very poor, Enterprise.

I came into a very small airport very very late due to delays,and an Enterprise Rep was waiting for me ready to assist me. I was very pleased with his attitude ,service,and being very understanding,With a great car to boot!
