Worst experience EVER! Booked a mid-size SUV through a third party site for pick up on Saturday 9/26/2020 back in February. Drive 40 minutes across town on the 26th to the Wexford location only to find out they are closed. Called the 1800 number on their door and was offered to cancel the reservation. I don't need to cancel, I need a car! After dealing with 2 less than helpful customer service agents I finally called the Moon Twp location. Luckily they were able to get me into a vehicle, however instead of midsize suv, I could only get a full size car. I had to take it as I needed to get on the road, but had to completely rearrange other travel plans as I had people that were supposed to be riding with me but now there would not be room. After returning the rental I again called the 1800 number to let them know and see about getting some reimbursement since I was not given what I had originally booked. I was advised by the less than helpful csa (do you see the running theme here) that the best they could do was offer a $50 certificate for a future rental and would not just refund my card. Why on earth would I want to use Hertz again on a future rental after this nightmare!? Absolutely unacceptable customer service in my opinion. I'll be sure to let others know not to use Hertz either!

How the heck to I call direct to this location? The number listed forwards me to a national number.. where I have to wait forever to talk to someone that isn’t even in the location.nnUpdate, was transferred to someone who didn’t even speak English. Kept saying “Hello, Hello, Hello...” and didn’t say anything else. Worst phone experience in a verrry loonnnngggg time

Was put on hold for 10 minutes. Nothing good. Nothing bad.

I just had the worst experience ever going to return a rental to this location I interacted with an employee name Susie the rental car I had was only supposed to be $1066 I end up having an extra $446 in charges because they charge me a $300 fee because Susie said it smelled like heavy smoke in the car and I do not smoke and I did not smoke in the car I feel like it was some racially biased type stuff because I was black returning the car there was no one smoking in the car at all I use the car to transport my 63-year-old client that I take care of because my car was in the shop since April i’ve been getting rental cars from Hertz for the past three years and never ran into this problem they also charge me for rental exchange fee my original location that I received the rental from was a pittsburght office downtown on fifth Avenue I was having mechanical issues out of the car that I received from fifth Avenue so they told me to contact another hearts and see if I’m able to swap the cars out with them because they did not have any other rentals to accommodate me due to the mechanical errors I was having with the Chrysler that I rented from them i’ve been having my rental car since April and I never ran into an issue when I returned it down at the fifth Avenue location I never was accused of having Smoke in the car and I don’t like the way that I was treated as a customer and I’m paying almost $1066 to their establishment when I could’ve went to any other rental car place beside theirs I’m really a palled and I feel very much so disrespected and the fact that they charge extra $446 than what I was told I feel like their employees Susie was just making up charges and the manager didn’t even try to hear or accommodate me on the charges I was never told I be charged any late fees for 12$ daily and I want late with the rental I am part of there hertz gold member I’m highly upset I have no extra money to give to no rental car place I’m a single mother with three kids I just got laid off my job and they really hit me with that big extra $446 fee another issue I had I’m at AAA member they didn’t even give me my discount for the AAA membership plan she said she couldn’t give it to me because when I first day at my rental they should’ve added it on here and they didn’t This was the most unprofessionalism the worst experience I’ve ever had and I will never do business with them again ever
