Hertz Car Rental

Only issue, which was large, was that they did NOT have an updated address with State Farm Insurance, causing me, helping a friend with their claim, to need 2hrs to locate them and rent a car... From someplace 20min away, max.

its ridiculous the amount of bad reviews this place has for the great customer service i received. cars are clean and look brand new, i tried 2 of them. i spoke to 3 different people and all of them were nice and helpful. i even got a call a couple days in from one of them just to see how things were going with the car and my situation. 5 stars, i would definitely come back. thanks guys!

Worst customer service on the planet. Tried to charge me over $500 for a rental car we got through a State Farm claim. And took hours to get this worked out. I travel a LOT and I will never use this joke of a business again. Enterprise is taking MUCH better care of our needs than Hertz does!

Make sure you join the Hertz Gold Club then it doesn't cost extra to add a spouse driver. They did not have what we ordered so they had it driven down from Seattle and had it ready when we got there. Awesome.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I have rented a lot of cars in my life through different companies. I needed a rental while my car was in the shop. I used my insurance agent's referral to Hertz. I don't have time to go into all the horrible details so here is a short version. Hertz was supposed to drop the car off at the shop I took my car to. They forgot. I called and asked where they were and Andrew at the Tumwater location laughed at me. Yeah, laughed...Then I have to get a ride to meet them at another shop to get the car. They are late. Again. I finally get the car, the kid who drove it looked stoned out of his mind. I believe I was correct because when I got into the car it reeked like a doobie. The car itself was also so dirty inside and out I had to clean the windshield down the street just to drive the car.n2 days later I then drop the car off at the designated location that Andrew tells me it will get picked up at. I called him and the auto shop owner called him to verify that I did indeed drop the car off and it is ready for Hertz to pick up.nI thought the nightmare was over. Then I saw they over charged me by over $60 on my card statement. I knew this was over charged because my insurance covered 80% of the two day rental. Here I am over a week later still dealing with the company and the charge issue.
