Red Route drivers are the best! Rainbow Route on Sat. FORGET IT! Call a cab. Been driven by x2 at Sequioa Park bus stop with 2 young kids and grocieries.nBuses end at 5pm...no posting/schedules of this since Covid (I get the no new scedule booklets $$$ but no signs either ANYWHERE!)nBuy the $10 bus pass they charge you a lesser fair each time you use it. Again not posted. online on bus or at bishops only learned it from word of mouth from a very damn good bus driver. (Red Route)

I take the bus from Fortuna to Eureka and back every day for work. I have witnessed drivers being treated badly especially lately. Tonight a man punched the bus door screaming at the driver because the bus was full. Your service and your drivers are providing a vital service for FREE right now. So thank you very much! The lack of a perfect 5 star is only because I sat in a very wet and suspiciously pee smelling spot and I am a little cranky but not really your fault. ud83dude01

I've been using the local bus for about 4 years. They are a group of mostly great bus drivers who stick to the schedule, and for them I have a lot of praise. Recently I had some problems with drivers who either didn't see me standing at a bus stop or left bus stops too soon. In both cases I lodged complaints with Eureka Transit and both matters were resolved to my satisfaction. In all fairness to the drivers, people often park in bus zones making it difficult for drivers to see waiting passengers. In places like these you might have to stand out in the street a bit to get the drivers' attention. Just be careful not to get run over.
