Hertz

I went up the counter to rent a car and the young lady without even looking up any information told me that she had nothing available. I did not see her lift a finger to verify this information in their system. I was quite amazed at her ability to up the top of her head quote me a price and tell me what they had in stock. She must be a walking human computer. So I decided to book a car on the website on my phone. Not only was I able to rent the car she claimed was not available but also at a pretty decent rate. If that is their level of customer service at this location, then I am not impressed.

Pick up went great with no issues. I had any extenuating circumstances that caused me to have to deliver the car to a different location in the general manager was less than understanding. He went in and changed the daily rate From $40 day 2 $89 day and then charge me an extra $300 on top of that to drop it off about 5 hours difference. He was absolutely rude and said that he has the power to do anything he wanted. I would really think using a different company due to his behavior.

Their app is very buggy, called for assistance and they weren’t able to help. Finally get my reservation straightened out myself only to find out at the end that a credit card is required. I have plenty of money on my debit card but they refuse to take it. Will never attempt to use Hertz, tremendous waste of my time and it’s a shame that they are associated with AAA.

My car rental was amazing with Hertz at the Spokane airport. The agent who checked me in was very personable and friendly. I was given an upgrade and it was hands-down the best rental car I have ever rented - it was a Mercedes SUV with only 100 miles on it. If the need arises in the future, I will absolutely be renting from Hertz at the Spokane airport. Thank you for having great service and being very customer-friendly. Wish I could remember my agent's name so I could give him a shout out. Thank yoU!

Horrible place. I prepaid for my rental and they had no record of me paying and I showed them the email he still wanted more Even though the confirmation to where I paid it was the exact same confirmation that he had. . He said hertz didn’t take that money American Airlines did so therefore he’s not held accountable for it. Then he couldn’t tell us if it would go towards our total cost and wanted to charge us an additional $280. Complete waste of time horrible customer service they don’t try to solve any problem would rather just sit there and argue with me
