Call a is at 5 pm as enterprise at last minute said they could not fill our reservation.....called avis....and was told we could pick up a car at everett airport...they were open til 7 pm. Was even given a confirmation with the address. I asked if their was signage and was told yes...was told counter for avis was not located inside but was across the street.nWe got there at 6 pm no signage and security informed us this location is closed to all outside traffic , Only incoming flights. Was also told avis location is 5 miles away and closes at 5pm.nCalled a is reservation desk again...they had no clue as to why I said they are closed.nN said I could go to Virginia to pick up from their 24/7 location!nI live near Seattle WA. worst experience ever

Very efficient help desk. It took us around 10 min from the moment we got there until we got the car. The shuttle service from Paine airport is not easy to find, since there are not signals on the spot

Terrible operation at an otherwise phenomenal airport. There are no signs that direct you to, or that you even need to, wait for a shuttle. They only have one shuttle and we had to wait 20 minutes.nnWouldn't have been that big of deal if we were told ahead of time about any of this. Clerks at the rental center were okay but not seeking to make our experience great.nnI never received a final bill or confirmation when I returned the car. I had to ask someone where to even leave the car or what to do.

Not at the airport. If the reservation would have had the right address we'd have taken the Uber straight to their office instead of them having to come pick us up at the airport. Unfriendly staff.

My husband and I have rented from Hertz before and never had a customer experience like this anywhere. So I booked the reservation under my name with my card. My husband wanted to actually pay with his credit card instead.nnSome other people walked in he asked them about their reservation. The customer said they reserved a vehicle this morning. The employee said they tried calling and we don't have a vehicle for you. The gentleman very calmly states why would the website let me reserve a vehicle when there are none available. The employee just goes well I tried to call you and that was that no apology or anything.nnBack to me and my husband this employee is trying to figure out how to switch the cards over another customer walks in and he says let me take care of her she's a gold member. After she was taken care of he finally calls the customer service line and we waited until somebody picked up. My husband gave the person on the phone details.nnOkay so after that he wanted my husband's license instead of mine. He wasn't driving the car I was. My husband has an out of country license and wasn't planning on driving. After this, the employee goes you can't do that! That's not something that rental cars do. My husband goes on to say that we rented from the Bremerton Hertz (the employee there was wonderful btw) and did just this. He started raising his voice at my husband wherein my husband states he has been rude since we walked in the door. Not just towards us but to other customers as well.nnThe employee goes I don't know how you think this works that's just not how we operate. My husband requested a refund and proof of a refund since it was prepaid. At this time another couple had walked in and said they were able to rent a car before where one person paid and the other drove. We stated we have been able to do this in other states and this is the first time we have run into this problem. The employee was visibly upset and becoming irate. He called the customer line and was on hold again.nnWhile he was on hold he took care of the other customers. He started talking about us to the next customers to which my husband told him to keep going because he was going to tell his manager everything he was saying. To which the employee ridiculously replied I don't care, call Trump (I'm not too sure why he would say this?), call the British Prime Minister (My husband is British) it doesn't matter.nnSo my husband and I just burst out laughing he was just being ridiculous. Apparently, he didn't like that because he said he was going to have us thrown out... He's the one making ridiculous remarks we just wanted a refund. Finally, the service agent answers the phone. He states we wanted a refund because the driver didn't have a license. Which wasn't the situation at all but whatever? The agent wanted to speak with my husband. The employee goes out to inspect the car with the other customers. The agent wanted to know what happened otherwise we would be charged a cancellation fee. My husband explained. The agent said it was up to the discretion of the branch (but I have a feeling he could have done this for us if he wanted to). She was very apologetic and courteous. The employee was not so much. Apparently, he's the assistant manager which was shocking. But upon looking at yelp I'm not surprised this place had such horrible reviews. This is our first and last visit here. I don't care how convenient it is.nnThe customers behind us gave us their contact info if we needed them to vouch for us too. This behavior should be unacceptable. I'm not sure what's going on at this Hertz.
