Freely reserved a truck Saturday Evening. Noting that there were clearly marked locations where needed truck was not available, and I specifically chose this location, because it said it would be. Sunday, morning 2 hours before my pick-up time, and was told they did not have any trucks available, period.nI was then charged a late fee Tuesday morning for not picking up a truck.nAbsolutely no excuse for this.
I’ve rented from this place several times and this one was the worst! I had a 10am appointment and waited nearly an hour with only one person working. Gave me a car that Stunk! To me it smelled like alcohol and cigarette smoke! The freaking key was labeled in red marker “dog smell”! He did not bother to give me a warning or anything.nn** glad to report that Avis (Jasmine G.nRepresentative | Email Customer ServicenAvis Rent A Car System, LLC ) reached out immediately and rectified the situation! This shows me they do care about their customers and what they have to say and assured me this was just one unfortunate event!nWith that said, I’ll definitely be returning because I always liked them for their personal service and low prices!
I travel a lot for work and personal, so I rent quite a few cars. I use budget quite often and the Lakewood location is the best when I am visiting my brother in Washington. It is the cheapest I have found yet! I always use promo codes and always get a free upgrade. The cars are super clean, and the staff is always friendly. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
135 for a 4 day economy car. Was the best deal we could find.
The facility is not the fancy location or building you would expect and doubles as a U-Haul rental location. But the folks are friendly and helpful give a strong positive vibe. There was a short wait for a busy afternoon and the location was near a military base - so most clients were in the military.nI arrived early for the rental so I had to wait until they finished washing the car - 15 minutes. I will rent from there again.
