Avis Car Rental

It was difficult to get a hold of customer service. The line just seemed to hang up on multiple tries. There was also an unexplained charge of $6.86 on my bill after I returned the car before stated drop off time. Again, I tried to call customer service and received a busy signal or the call just hung up. After multiple tries I gave up. I will not be renting nor recommending Avis Car rental in the future due to these 2 issues.

Easy check-in, no line, friendly service. The only thing I would change is to have someone there in the garage to take your keys, etc so that you don't need to stand in line again to turn in the key. Or a drop box w/envelope that has all your info and such and the customer can just fill out the necessary info for turn in and then seal it up and drop it in the box.

I had to cancel my flight home so thankful for Avis. Their vehicles are newer models, very clean, and well maintained. Very reasonable prices too.

The attendant was nice, but that's the only nice thing about my rental. The car was filthy on the outside, when I got inside the car it smelled of smoke. My flight was delayed so I was in a rush to get to work. I didn't have time to wait. When I looked on the floor, there were ashes and dirt all over the back. There was something sticky on the screen. I had to stop by Walgreens on my break and get air fresheners for the car. I also noticed that the front bumper wasn't completely on. Avis has really gone downhill. Unfortunately, my company has signed a contract with them, so I'm constantly having to make complaints.

Help find a closer drop off location, very helpful and willing.
