Big Sky Resort

It is a beautiful and large mountain. It has some excellent blue rides. The grooming of blacks leaves something to be desired, though. Lots of moguls on blacks and above. So if you like that style of skiing you'll have fun. But if you like steep but fast black slopes you will not find much.nThe big bubble lift is great, but it doesn't go very far and most of the rest of the lifts are relatively old.nThere are no eateries on the mountain. You have to go down to one of the bases to get food. This is a first large mountain that I skied on that did not have some lodge at the top. Weird...nAnd it wasn't that crowded in late March, but getting a table for lunch was still a bit of a struggle. It must be getting pretty bad during pick of the season.

A very very large ski resort with Incredible variety. There's no way a person could get bored with this Resort. Fantastic skiing snow types vary depending upon the direction the slope faces. Also the time of day effects of snow type. So you get to learn different types and what weather parameters affects the different snow types. There are lots of long runs and lots of short runs to challenge one's cardiovascular and leg Fitness. Mogul runs that are long and short powder runs that are long and short entries for those who are so inclined. Fantastic skiing at the end of the ski season. Loved it.

We spent the day skiing Big Sky with an out of town friend today. Skiing was fantastic. Great conditions and terrain - and we especially loved the new high speed chairlifts with heated seats! When we finished for the day we found another car had blocked us in our parking space. We flagged down some maintenance staff and they called security. Within a few minutes, security arrived, maintenance staff returned and there was a plow to remove snow from the snow bank behind our car. They were super helpful, efficient and professional. This left a very good impression and we will definitely return to ski Big Sky again!

I don't know how anyone could have a negative experience. We had the best time and can't way to go back. Parking is FREE and easy. Plenty of restaurant options at the base area, and different terrain for every skier in the group to enjoy.

Charlie, who was one of the parking attendants was super helpful in getting us parked properly. Charlie was very courteous, professional and every question we asked him about Big Sky including eating establishments, which slopes or lifts to take he had answers for!! Other staff were well informed as well. We were first timers from Colorado and we're definitely returning!!ud83dudc4dud83dude01ud83cudfc2⛷ud83cudfbf❄
