Hertz is good company, they just do a soft credit check on a debit card. You don't need to have a major credit card like most places. Only down fall is we were not notified of the place not going to be open and myself and husband was stuck at a motel until they opened. Mined you I made our reservation 3 days in advance. I have made a reservation for 3 days now at the price of 20.00 a day and now it has been canceled 3 times. Now their jacking the price up are they out of their minds

Horrible and rude!! My car was not available for pickup til 4pm, the same time Hertz closes on Friday, so I was not able to return the rental until after the weekend when they were open. I arrived and the worker was rude to me! I asked him why I was being charged for the weekend if Hertz was closed, therefore no way to returnn the rental and he said “ because you did not return the rental on time “ HOW AM I GOING TO RETURN THE RENTAL ON THE WEEKEND IF HERTZ IS CLOSED ! He said “ we are open Saturday 9-12pm and close 5:30 on Friday “ but online hours show weekdays open until 4 and closed weekends, and somehow it was my fault even though I called Friday? Not to mention I called multiple times to let them know and left a message and no one ever answered or retuned my call ! Worst experience ever ! I asked if I could talk to manager and he told me no and gave me a 1-800 number and said “ they won’t do anything because I already closed the return of the rental” why would he close the rental/transaction and charge without consent before he could help me and my situation ! Never again !

I rented a car from this location and called the day before I was supposed to return the vehicle. I spoke with Brendon and asked him if I could drop the car off after hours and leave the key in the drop box. He informed me they did not have a drop box and close at 4PM. FOUR O’CLOCK!!! I let him know that was extremely inconvenient and asked could I return at a store that did have a drop box because I worked during normal business hours, which they do not have. He informed me I would have to pay an interstate fee if I dropped at another location. I let him know it was nearly impossible for me to return during those hours and I felt it should be an easier return process. I returned from my trip late the night before it was due, which is why I wanted to return after hours. He failed to offer me any solutions other than paying a huge fee to drop off elsewhere. I normally rent from Enterprise and this was my first experience with Hertz. Needless to say, I’ll stick with Enterprise because they have always been so kind and made my experience a breeze.
