Rented a car here, dropped it off in Portland five hours later. Two months after get a $75.00 charge on my credit card from Budget Car Rental with no explanation. Called customer service, who sent me to billing, who sent me to sales (?), who sent me to claims, who close at 2PM PDT so they hung up on me while I was on hold.nnThe $75.00 is apparently a cleaning fee. Car was perfectly clean, it was a sunny day, and I only had a laptop bag with me. A rude piece of work in billing snidely told me they'll email me photos in 3-5 business days.nnDon't give them your credit card details unless you have money and dignity to waste on them.
They are professional and helpful. Its also very affordable specially when using their app.nThe only negative part is their tight maze looking parking space.
They push you hard to get an insurance. They will tell you your card won't cover it. The minimum they will ask you to buy liability insurance and if you deny they will cancel your reservation. That's how they make money. Better to get cars from budget on the 5th Ave.
Awful customer experience. I was over charged for an extra day without being informed of this. In fact when I returned the car the representative gave menMy bill and told me that everything was in order that my final amount was 118$. Two days later I was charged an extra 118$ I called to get this solved and the Manager couldn’t care less about it. He told me that this is how it works and couldn’t help getnMy issue solved. Very poor customer service. Experience like this create a sour taste. I’ll be taking my business to a place that cares about customer retention and satisfaction.
The worst customer service ever. Try to find a different place for your peace of mind. I booked for the full size (Malibu or similar), but they didn't have that size of vehicle in their lot, so I received the intermediate car (Corolloa). It is acceptable, but I don't know why I have to pay more for the smaller vehicle. The price went up to change the size of vehicle on their system, and the officer wasn't able to figure out why it happened and how to fix it.
