Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge/Port Allen

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable. The light in the toilet/shower area was very dim making it difficult to see when the shower curtain was drawn. As it turns out, this is standard lighting in all the shower areas. In addition, card key system was not working at the time of check in and Maxine, the front desk clerk had to let us in our room. Kudos to Maxine, she was awesome and went above and beyond to assist us in resolving our issues which made our stay more enjoyable. She was polite, patient, professional and deserves a medal for dealing with us two grumpy old ladies. The five star rating is for Maxine.

Excellent hotel. Very clean compared to others of the same brandnnVery large rooms for the price considering these are much larger and furnished than similar ones in BR.nn17 min is well worth it. Staff was very helpful as well. I had to request late checkout due to a delay and was even given extra time.nnBreakfast was great as well.nnAs crazy as it may seem the wifi seems faster here too. I experienced 0 buffering unlike some others locations. (I never pay for premium wifi)nnCurrently a gold member, this was final stay for diamond

SUPER SUPER CLEAN!!!! GREAT BREAKFAST...HOST HAD EVERYTHING SO NICE AND ORGANIZED. VERY FRIENDLY. DID I MENTION CLEAN!!! I AM A VERY PICKY PERSON...AND IT WAS CLEAN. BED WAS COMFY. ROOM WAS LARGE. LOVE THAT THE SINK WAS OUTSIDE OF THE BATHROOM SO ONE CAN GET READY WHILE THE OTHER SHOWERS.

I stayed November 30th into December 1st. Maxine at the front desk was wonderful and helpful. She made the check in smooth and non stressful. Thank you!

Best experience at a Hotel we have had. The lady doing breakfast every morning was very pleasant!
