Pick up time is 8am. I arrive at 7:30. At 7:45 I am presented with a car with only has a quarter tank of gas. I let him (Ricky H.) know that a rental should have a full tank. He says “technically half a tank”. I say, “technically it isn’t half”. He says I can go get you $15 worth of gas if you want. (Wouldn’t it take the same effort to just fill it?). I said, fine, I don’t have time to mess around I am on a schedule. I open the door and it is full of dog hair. My son Immediately starts sneezing. I ask for another vehicle. He says he can just vacuum this one out. I say I am in a rush and I don’t feel that a quick vac will remedy the problem. I say how can we make this right? I will take any other car on the lot. He says, “they are all reserved. I have no solution, if you would have called ahead I would have had the car ready for you.” Really? Is that how you treat a customer Mr. Rude Ricky? Placed a call to corporate... we will see what happens from here.nnUpdate - The response from management below is empty. I emailed (several times) and was promised I would be contacted by the regional manager. I have yet to have anyone address this with me yet.
Staff was excellent, car was clean, and overall the experience was fine. However, the car I received had the shrillest, loudest, most shrieking brakes I've ever driven on a car. Halfway through the week I contemplated going back to switch it out with different rental, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle.
I appreciate that my experience was tailored to me. I have rented with enterprise over the years, and work with them through my insurance, USAA, when needed. This was the 1st time I was ever offered an option to upgrade to a better/faster car. Usually I get stuck with whatever my insurance covers, I didn't even know this was an option. I seriously appreciate it because I hate being stuck with a slow rental while my car is in the shop!
Fast check in and out. Limited parking.
My experience with Enterprise was great. Car was ready. Check was fast. They were not able to pick me up but offered to reimburse an Uber trip for pick up. Since they were only a couple miles away my housemate took me over. Thanks Enterprise for helping me with a successful trip to visit my family.
