I made the mistake of not having them walk the car with me. Because the car looked like it had been through something rough and it smelled but I didn’t bring it up. Make sure you make them walk with you. I took the car to the coast to go razor clamming the lady claims it smelled but I made sure I vacuumed it out and made sure it didn’t smell. They ended up charging me 150 to clean it. My contract only says if you smoke they will charge for cleaning. Nothing else about returning the car the way you got it but I still cleaned it. When I called the manger she said it’s not possible to reverse a charge. So I called customer service gave me the same lie. Never trust this company I should have read the last review. Just avoid hertz in general.

Do not rent from this place and save yourself the headache. I rented from Tacoma location a few weeks ago and it was a great experience - highly recommend them. This place however? I returned the car on a full tank, filled up right before we dropped it off. I forgot the rental agreement at home because it got mixed in with our unpacking. I dropped off using express & folded it in a paper with date & time.nnNow they charged me $100 for gas saying it was at 5/8 of a tank??? I filled up before we got there & it was on full. This is complete bs. I just spoke with one of the branch managers there & she was a little bit rude. Yes I’m frustrated, but what am I supposed to do? Money is tight and now they’re trying to rob me of 100+ dollars for gas that I filled up!!!!!! I’m so frustrated. Waiting on an email back but the lady was giving me a little bit of attitude so I can’t say I’m confident in a resolution.nnRent from another Hertz location because this isn’t worth the headache or frustrations.nnWill update this as I get updated. Really hoping they just mixed up the cars by accident.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Not only did they not have my vehicle but they wanted to charge me more and the full day rate. The woman who ran this station made it apparent that the reason my car wasn’t available was entirely my fault. Also the Priceline address had it in a different location so I had to walk several blocks with all my stuff to get to the correct location.
