Great price easy in and out both at pick up and drop off and friendly service

Honestly I enjoy renting from avis I've had the most amazing service. This last rental period was unfortunate my friend had a seizure in the car with her daughter next to her in the backseat of the car. She left foot prints in the backseat. I returned the car 03/30/2021. On 04/01/2021 Deb called me screaming saying that I took her 1 hr to clean the car they could charge me 200 her manager told her she should charge me 200 as well but she is not going to do that. She told me that I was lucky she wasn't having me banned from all avis locations. She then explained I could never rent from her again. I camly said ok thanks alot! And hung up the phone.

At first everything was smooth! Ordered online and picked up the car. My mom paid for the car and I used the car to drive home to Colorado. I lost the money on airline tickets and my mother was helping me out. First off, we get offered a “FREE” upgrade... more about that shortly. We take it. Then the woman tells us that my mom needs to be on the contract since the card is in her name. She said NOTHING about that costing an additional fee!!!! Otherwise I would have used my card. I get the car and there was sticky stuff all over the inside. It was on the passenger seat, the console and all over the back seat! I mentioned this at drop off and was pretty much responded to with “oh okay”. So I cleaned the car so my child would not be covered in this nastiness. We get home and I vacuum and wash the car. I take it in for drop off and was told there would be an additional $150.00+ added to my mothers card for the “FREE” upgrade and additional driver. The thing we were never informed of up front.... My mother calls them and gets told they would get her a refund. The refund never happens so she calls back. She was treated rudely and disrespectfully by their overseas lack of help line. I never had issues with Avis and have friends that use them regularly. I’ve been sure to mention my experience to everybody and tell them they should go to other rental companies. I truly hope I’ve lost Avis a lot of business after this fiasco. How dare you disrespect and lie to customers.
