Yesterday I had the pleasure of being helped by Tracy at Budget in Pickerington. Tracy was professional, informative and patient. I rented a moving van to move my son into his apartment at college, which can be a nerve wracking experience for a parent. Tracy went over all the options, and return procedures. I would highly recommend Tracy and Budget on Refugee in Pickerington for your moving needs.

Rented a car ahead of time, did not have it available

Reserved a moving truck early in the week.n- When i showed up on Saturday they didn't have it and didn't know when one would be available. They knew before hand it wouldn't be there but refused to notify me.n- The person at the location told me this was par for the company. They handed me a brochure and told me to call customer support to make other arrangements. I don't know if the employee couldn't call it themselves or wouldn't. You'd think employees would have an internal # to call and expedite this kind of thing.n- Sat on hold for 5mins then was told by the support person someone would be calling in 15mins to 2hrs to let me know IF a truck would be available and where to pick it up. They wouldn't bring it to where the truck was supposed to be in the first place.n- After an hour of waiting I called other rental companies to see if anyone had immediate availability. Found the same size truck w/ a different company and had the keys for it before the 2hrs was up. It was even 1/2 the cost of what Budget charged. For the record, no one from Budget called within the 2hrs. At the end of 2hrs I had to call them to cancel the reservation.nnIt would be a disservice to recommend Budget for moving truck rental. This part of the company seems to be in internal disarray.

The store was very accommodating to our last-minute need for a rental (on a Sunday afternoon!) and was willing to work with us to find the best way to handle having the rental paid for by a third party who wouldn't be driving it. The car was clean and in good working order. Good experience.nnSide note: This store is shared with the Avis at the same location and appears to use the same employees. Despite this, there seems to be a great disparity in the reviews between the two. Check reviews on both stores to get the full picture.
