Enterprise Rent-A-Car

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. They gave me an old van which costs $1300 for 10 days. The transmission was going out and the vehicle would not switch gears timely. I tried to speak with a manager about it and they said that's not the process. That it is too late to do anything about it now. I felt it was dangerous as we could not switch lanes on the interstate quickly. I will never rent from them again. Not even a sorry ma'am.

I always rent through Enterprise, Galesburg location, because I love their customer service, but this last time was AWFUL! The car was not what I ordered (ordered full size and ended up with an economy car), no upgrade was offered at no cost as there was an SUV on site and available, and the car was FILTHY.. dirty masks under the seat and glove box, along with what looked like hotel hangers in the glove box. And the car smelled of pet dander and smoke. I wanted to take the car back but could not as I was leaving for Texas the nest morning and the car wasn't ready until 415pm when I ordered pick up to be at 2pm. So with all this being said I had to leave some of my first grand baby nursery stuff here since the car was way too small to pack everything. Once on the road to Texas the air conditioning would only work part time and the tires needed air. So I called the main office and they were so helpful I was able to switch the car from Galesburg in Waxahachie, TX. Since they did not have a full size car, which is what the order was originally for, they upgraded me at no charge. The Waxahachie location was very friendly, walked me through all the ins and out of the car, and apologized for the service in Galesburg. I would have given 1/2 star, but the Texas location was top notch and deserve a 5 star, but the Galesburg location does not. I am not sure if I will return back to the Galesburg location to do business or not, as this experience was not pleasant!

Great customer service with car ready and with full tank. It will be flawless unless you do not make a reservation ahead of time.nnYou will be quite disappointed if no reservation was made a week ahead of time. Plan ahead.

My company uses Enterprise for all of our vehicle needs. Darnell is the best, I have followed him to Galesburg from the Macomb location. He always makes sure I am taken care of and that all my needs are met. James is pretty cool too! I will forever be a dedicated as a customer to Darnell and James. Enterprise needs more employees like these two because as a company you don't have enough amazing employees like Darnell and James.

I was a little upset, as I was promised a 12 passenger van, but when I called back to confirm the time I could pick it up I was told by another worker that I had to use a major credit card in order to get it, although I was not told this when the 1st worker reserved it for me. This was very upsetting as I was getting the rental to be able to take multiple family members to a memorial service. So, I ended up just being able to rent a 7 passenger van, so in the end it worked out, but I was not given the 12 passenger van as originally promised.
