Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Super fast, professional, and fun crew took care of me. Really enjoyed these guys, found me a nice car that met my needs splendidly while my ride was in the body shop. Have used Enterprise in the past a few times at various airports, have never had any problems or negative experience with them. Great people, great service, nice clean cars.

Had one of the worst experiences of my life with this locations manager. We rented a van while our car was getting fixed and took pictures of the entire outside. When we returned the vehicle they immediately came out and went to all the dents and scratches instantly blaming my wife. I then showed them each and every scratch that I had a picture of and they still demanded that we did the damage. Now we have an email saying we have to pay for the fixes to the van.nnThe “manager” of this place was also playing games and was caught in lies and corrected by other employees and acted extremely shady. He also was staring at my wife as she bent over as I was sitting in the truck watching with my son. This is when I got out and had enough. It’s very obvious he’s done this multiple times the way he had canned answers to every thing I asked. There was no defending myself even with proof that the scratches were there before.nnAwful.nnI will say the gal that helped us in the beginning was extremely helpful and should honestly be the manager with her amazing attitude. I feel bad that she has to work under such management. Also the gentleman in the back that corrected the manager after telling lies and trying to hide things. I appreciate the good people working here and trying to do what is right even when management is leading a bad example.

Appending the review. While it took awhile, corporate office and the regional manager did take care of me, once they heard about the issues. So upped from 1 star to 5 star. The original review is below.nnMy vehicle is in for a repair for 3 weeks and insurance pays for a rental. Supposedly the only vehicle Enterprise could get me is a minivan. They said I could swap it out fornsomething else later on. Oddly enough even though I check every day there is NOTHING available. I'm sure the fact that the minivan brings in more money from my insurance has nothing whatsoever to do with it. I'll never voluntarily do business with Enterprise.

Great people to work with. Terrific communication. People at the 1800 Dodge St location in Cedar Rapids, IA were amazing to work with when renting and returning our vehicle. Highly recommend them and that location.

I guess Enterprise is becoming more customer aware when it comes to the vehicles. First of all, I felt violated when one rep asked who I worked for, when the car was in the process of being rented, I assume there have been issues with cars not being returned. Next, I dropped off the rental in one day & the rep checking the vehicle as if it was me that did the damage to the vehicle. I felt some kind of way with that. Third, which I was kind of appalled, the vehicle that I was given needed servicing, cracked windshield, no panel door for the fuse box, quite a few dings and scratches, and the instrumental panel in the middle console was unreadable. I really believe that car is for what Enterprise thinks is a untrustworthy renter. I rent vehicles quite frequently, especially in the spring/summer months. Due to this change, I'll have to rethink where I rent cars from. I truly believe Enterprise is profiling renters. I'm not one of those customers that recklessly or intentionally damage a rental that is linked to my license. I assume many,many have been complaining about customer service and the vehicles. I think Enterprise may have lost a customer. Enterprise needs to update their fleet and be mindful of how customer service is being practiced in the establishments.
