Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I’m not giving the business 5 stars, I’m giving Cole W. 5 stars. He is beyond helpful even with the limitations placed on him by management. I know that it’s not always easy to have cars readily available this time of year with certain events taking place which effects every branch of this business and I know that even though he is a newer employee, he is still doing a fantastic job.

The branch manager has a nasty attitude. I Sit outside for an hour waiting on another employee to finish up to help me, while she sat inside. Then finally made it inside and she was so rude about everything. Like why let me sit and wait if y’all don’t have anything available?? And I said that and she finally said well I guess I could do this car. Then wanted to make me pay deposit with credit card saying I live over 50 miles away. I typed in my gps and showed that I live 43 miles away. She goes on to say well I guess it’s fine. You guess????if the rule is 50 miles and my home address is 43 miles away why would you have to guess?? Like I said so snappy and rude about everything.

Let me tell you that I was extremely happy with my rental from this location. Jared was all over the place serving 2 - 3 of us at one time and made us feel like valued renters. As a former ERC employee, I know how hard it is to manage a short staffed location, and Jared went the extra mile. He helped me chose the right rental plan and extras that I needed for this trip and even followed up with me during the rental to make sure everything was ok. The car was clean, smelled good and came with Clorox wipes. The only snag was that they were short staffed and I couldn't get a pickup or drop off and had to walk back home. Other than that, best experience ever and I will be renting again.

I give this a one star because I was sidelined on the morning of my rental about the deposit being raised to 300.00. This is an enormous amount of money for the low-income area and populace here and during these difficult times that have brought so many hardships on the community. I was floored. This should not have happened this way. I felt like this was a rush to judgement situation and the company did not care how the community feels and the hardships in which the community is going through. The manager there is a wonderful person and she tries very hard to accomodate people, but I know some things are out of her hands, so I do not blame her. I have rented from enterprise for over 20 plus years and still I am treated as If I am a stepchild. This is very disappointing for someone who has spent a lot of money with a company over decades. When you do let people know how extensive your rental record is, it is as though you didn't say anything at all. Please find a way to judge people on an individual expereince and not treat people like an assembly line product. I am from the old school when your business was sort after and appreciated. I also ask that enterprise please consider having more small cars on the lot for those people that are not trying to look a certain way or need to have the comfort of luxury, but just need transportation. With everything that I have said, I do realize that there are people out there that are just waiting to get a car and steal it or keep it illegally. That is not me nor has that never been my intentions. I am a law biding citizen and just only wish to rent a car for by transportation liesure. I do not want a car at this stage in my life, because they are a headache to maintain. There are going to be future rentals from me in the future because I like to yard sale, go to neighboring cities and areas and visit friends and family. So please , I just want my rental experience to be a good one and not seem like I am on trial.

The young man who check us in was excellent. I dont remember his name of the agent but to him I say thank you. my fiance Xavius got his car in a timely manner with absolutely no hassle. However he left his garage opener in the car which he didn't realize until he got home and couldn't get in. He went right back to Enterprise and was told they didn't have it. It was no where in the car. And was told the same thing when checking back the next day. Luckily he was able to get a new one immediately.
