Hertz Car Rental

Chris from the Lynwood branch was beyond helpful(relocated to auburn). My car was in the shop for over 5 weeks and they made the rental experience seamless. In my experience there was no hidden fees, no hardship extending my rental (which I had to do multiple times). Enterprise quoted me 4 times what they quoted me. I got picked up from the shop my car was dropped off to, and was able to drop the rental off at the same shop. I am beyond impressed. It is an absolute marvel that this company has any competition. 11/10 beyond satisfied.

Made a reservation. Called ahead to ask a question. Was told they wouldn't be able to accommodate my reservation. Never even got to my question. Yeah, they're scammers. Stay away. Hertz is dying.

Auburn.. Iwould not recommend this business unless it was the cheapest and you were willing to deal with a hassle. Let’s not forget being checked in while the clerk is on the phone and going back and forth. Minutes change your rate, explanations aren’t clear other then the system, without reason. Complete utter change from my standard which is Enterprise. I ended up here because of a company discount that isn’t worth the trouble...... Please avoid for your sanity unless you enjoying the annoyance that comes with this company!!!

They charged 400 dollar smoking fee when their was no smoking in the vehicle. They then realized their was no smoking then called it a waxing charge. The vehicle was driven on freeways so had. Normal road grime from Seattle weather. All said and done 400 dollar cleaning fee for a vaccine and a car wash. Robbery. Also they never call back or follow up. Do you self a favor and steer clear. Seems to be a trend with this branch.

I would not recommend this location. They gave me a partially cleaned car, soap still on it, spots on interior. After calling them multiple times in the span of three weeks to get confirmation that they would in fact have a vehicle for me they said they would have the vehicle ready first thing in the morning on the day I scheduled to pick it up. I showed up when they opened and it hadn’t been cleaned and I was told it would be another hour before it was ready so I was late to work, luckily my manger was understanding. Then when I returned it on time and in better condition than I received it I was charged an additional day (I was told it was a system error) and it took almost three weeks and three phone calls to get that money back. Won’t be doing business at this location again.
