There are people in Richmond Behavioral Health Authority that are extremely dishonest and untrustworthy. They will falsify and misconstrue information in order to obtain the conclusion they want. Please stay away from Richmond Behavioral Health Authority and go to a place that will respect you.

This place is meant for treatment, it's meant to help you. Instead it has torn me apart, and made me feel like my life isn't worth living. The people here are ignorant af, and if you have any problems, you might as well just keep it to yourself because your problems don't matter to anyone, and you will never get the help you need. I highly recommend going to a different treatment center, because this place will do nothing but tear you apart.

RBHA should get zero stars. Have been dealing with too many things lately, called their crisis line and was told they could help me with my specific problems. I ended up going to their CSU (crises stabilization unit) for a few days and discovered there was not much of anything they could do to help (they do not offer help with personality disorders, even though they said they did over the phone), and was told to take my medications with me. Upon my discharge, they refused to give me any of my meds back other than what they were giving to me while there. They literally stole several hundred dollars worth of my prescriptions that i cannot replace easily. I have called some local hospital crisis units, and they have no such policy of keeping a patient's meds, only RBHA. I now have no blood pressure meds, allergy meds, sleep meds, non-opioid painkillers, etc... I could understand if these were addictive medications like opioids and such, but nothing i had fell in that category. I find this very shady and unacceptable. I would now have to spend more money that I do not have right now to replace my meds and even more to fight this. I say stay as far away from this place as possible. Would be much more beneficial to go to one of the local hospitals' crisis units over this place.

They offered no help at all and honestly I feel like they are prime example of people who are just working for a check and not to help or make a difference...I feel like they are the reasons for suicides. Ignorant black people and I'm darker than chocolate so its not a racist thing.
