This Budget in Chester has the best customer service. I highly recommend them
Did not have the vehicle I reserved and customer service was very unhelpful. Went to Enterprise and they fixed me up with a better car.
We reserved an 4wd SUV 2 months in advance for pickup at the Richmond Airport, when we got to the airport they said they did not hold our car and that there were no 4wd vehicles in stock and told us to use a sedan to pick up an SUV at another location in Charleston Virginia. We go there where they have two SUVs at location but were reserving them for someone else. They then told us we were out of luck and there was nothing they could do. We then go back to Richmond where they now have a SUV a day later. They gave us no compensation for THEIR mix up and charged us for the gas driving to the other locations.
There's never a car there even when you reserve, HOWEVER the man that always helps us, Carlos, ALWAYS works something out, and even if we have to wait a little extra time he makes sure we get a car that day (usually we need it right then) and I gotta give him 5 stars because he's great! As far as budget/avis goes, they need to work out a better system to reserve and make sure availability matches.
