Wow! We are so glad to know the owners of this fine motel. I can’t say enough about their integrity and kindness. It’s exudes into everything that they do. We know that you’ll enjoy your stay At the Golden Pan Motel. What a beautiful place!

Pretty decent little motel. We booked two nights, but ultimately had to leave after one (nothing to do with the motel). Elsewhere it would be much cheaper, but given the proximity to Red River and Angel Fire, definitely a deal. We seemed to be the only guests and did not see any employees either during our stay. Under 'normal' circumstances it might have been a little eery, but given the pandemic we were perfectly happy not to encounter anyone. Loved the contactless check-in and keypads on the doors. Communication was good and thorough before, during, and after the stay. The room was rustic but the mattress, duvet and throw seemed new and were very comfy. TV with Netflix, etc. was a nice touch. The room was extremely dusty- we wiped everything down when we got there and the wipes were all brown/black when we were done. Since the place was empty, it could have been a while since it was cleaned. Not a deal breaker, but a little surprising. The mini-fridge was VERY mini and we had a hard time fitting a couple tupperwares of lunch/dinner stuff in there, but we were glad to have it and the microwave as well. All in all, a positive experience and we'd stay again!

If you're looking for a clean and comfortable room this is the place! Customer service and hospitality are top notch! Located next to Eagle Nest Cafe serving delicious breakfast and lunch ud83dude0b Within walking distance to locally owned artisan shops, fly shacks with knowledgeable guides, beautiful trails and of course Eagle Nest Lake State Park! Pack your bags and come enjoy this beautiful little village and all it's amenities!

I stayed for four days in room number 1. It was clean and cozy. This motel is currently rustic, but I anticipate the new owner will be updating very soon and will make a great stay an excellent one. This place is worth staying at, don't over look it.
