Hertz

Horrible service. Reserved a sedan. Got a confirmation number and when I went to pick up the car they said they had no cars. They said they couldn't contact me but they had my email address and phone number. It took me at least 20 calls to hear back from Rachel, the manager. Who did not give any other information rather than we don't have cars.

Hertz Roadside Assistance AND this local location left my wife and I STRANDED in The White Mountains for two days until our SON came to rescue us.nThe woman who runs this location is EXTREMELY ride and regards to honor the basic premise that when you rent a vehicle and that vehicle breaks down, they're compelled to put you into another vehicle.nNo reimbursement for our two days at a hotel IN SEASON which is expensive. AND these THIEVES are attempting to still charge my card for a vehicle that is broke down AT their hertz location! Ridiculous! We had to have our bank freeze Hertz out so no more erroneous charges appear!nF hertz. These people DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ARE LITERAL THIEVES.nnUSE ENTERPRISE!

Hertz came through with a rental when the other guys (Enterprise, I'm looking at you) did not...and we're so glad. Rachael is an absolute gem and got us into a great car for a great rate, and quickly. She was friendly and super helpful. Great experience all around!

I recently rented a car from Rachel. She was very nice and accommodating. She gave us a great rate on a full size sedan one way from NH to GA. She also had phone numbers for shuttle drivers to help us get to her location ( we did not have a car at the time ). The car was great, Rachel was great. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from her again.

Hertz was terrible. They were locked up tighter than a bull's behind in fly season. Booked a reservation the evening before and showed up to find cars in the lot bit the door locked. I called the number and the woman on the other line told me to go fly a kite. Suggested I hire a cab to take me to Enterprise. If they didn't have have any availability, why let me book. I had a friend drive an hour to my house to pick me up for this reservation and drive me another hour and a half to the location. Now I'm stranded in that town over an hour from myself. Lesson: only rent from Alamo or Enterprise. SMmfH. Not sure what the boilerplate response at the bottom is but I am not sure how genuine it could be given the other reviews. This seems like an ongoing problem. How many corporate complaints does it take before you loose a franchise and become a Rent-A-Wreck? That's about what this outfit equates to...
