I honestly had a pretty good experience with Alamo. I drove from Washington state to Florida and the pricing was good, I was given a 2020 vehicle and the one way drop fee was super reasonable. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because I didn’t get the exact vehicle I wanted (though what I received was considered equivalent), and the oil change light came on once I got into Idaho (literally only a couple hundred miles). Clearly the car needed one before it was rented. But, I had no issues, so overall I had a really good rental experience.

Overcharge n difficult to talk on the phone to costamer service
No problems. Easy to reserve online then just pick it up and go.
Pretty bad. My fiancé and I booked a car for my parents to come out to our wedding, using American Airlines rewards. Through some technicalities - they couldn't pick it up and my folks got stranded ten hours away and unable to make the road trip. Alamo corporate says we lose our payment and they can't refund us.nnRidiculous.
