Enterprise Rent a Car

I am a loyal customer of Enterprise who rents frequently for work however this will be my first and last time at the Texan Trail Grapevine location as my dealings were unacceptable under the care of the manager here named Daniel Howard. At the time of my pickup the only vehicle available was a van. I was advised by the representative on pickup that I would be able to switch out this van when another standard vehicle (that I reserved and paid for) was available. The next day I called and was advised I would be able to switch out my vehicle in the afternoon without issues as they had many vehicles available. To my surprise I was aggressively greeted by the branch manager Daniel Howard refusing to even hear out my issue. Immediately he advised that there were no more cars at this location to switch out. When I explained I called prior and arranged for a switch, he rudely threw his hands up in the air and said there was nothing he could do. Surprisingly there was a parking lot full of vehicles that were visible outside his location, however he said there were no vehicles to rent as these were already reserved. I then inquired what his future reservations would be renting if no cars returned in time for their rental. He told me that he would have to upgrade these reservations to one of the many upgraded vehicles he had available outside. My question is why did he not treat me like another equal customer and properly check for options and if nothing was available, upgrade me to any of the many options that were in fact on the lot. I was discriminated against and unfairly treated by this manager who arbitrarily took the liberty to completely ignore my issue and address it in a professional manner.
