When I arrived at BTR, I think I was probably the last plane in. All the rental car agencies were closed except Enterprise. There were 4 cars- an Avalon, two mini-vans, and a red Ford Mustang convertible. Since my trip was one way the price difference between the 4 vehicles was perhaps $50nIt was a pleasant drive to South Florida and with the top down I had a nice tan by the time I arrived!

When I got there they didn't have luxury vehicle I requested. I'm a cadillac chic to heart and wanted nothing else. Only thing close they had was a Chyrsler 300S. They offered it to me at a discounted rate, and gave me a full tank of gas. The car wasn't bad, and definitely had the getty-up I'm used to in my Cadillac Ct5-V. This was my 2nd experience here and the staff is always nice so, kudos.

Maybe the worst experience ever!nAnd I love Enterprise: they have locations all over and whenever I've had a problem with a car, it's always been resolved quickly.nAnd I'm an Enterprise club member.nnThis time, I picked up a car at the Baton Rouge Airport, and I wanted to return it to Alexandria, Louisiana, airport, but there's no Enterprise location there, only National, which is part and parcel with Enterprise now, and - maybe - I could leave the keys at the National desk.n(My flight out was 7:00AM and I didn't expect anyone to be on duty when I got to the airport.)nEnterprise Customer Service told me that had to be approved by the Baton Rouge location, and they would have them contact me.nI'm still waiting....nI called Baton Rouge, waited on hold for 20 minutes (no exaggeration) and got cut off.nI called Enterprise Customer Service escalation, waited another 20 minutes, and was cut off AGAIN! (Customer Service cannot make outgoing calls - or so I was told - and so being cut off is the end of that line.)nAnd nobody can get to anybody in management anywhere.nWith service like this I don't blame management for hiding!nSo far I have refrained from any exaggeration; all my calls and all my exasperation, everything is recorded in Enterprise's Customer Service system.nnI do have a happy ending: I decided to call Baton Rouge again.nThis time I got a person!nShe was NOT at Baton Rouge; their calls are automatically forwarded to customer service; oh my God, no, thinks I.nI explained what I had been through and, again, what I wanted to do.nShe says, ok, no problem, she noted my agreement and I was all set.nI'm flabbergasted and suspicious that she doesn't know what she's talking about.nShe explained that she was in the New Orleans Customer Service and knew how Louisiana worked; it was the rest of Customer Service who didn't know what they were talking about.nSo, I put my faith in her, got her name (trust but verify) and made my plans.nnI took a picture of the rental car in its space at the Alexandria, Louisiana, airport, annotated an envelope, put the keys in it and dropped it in the box at the National counter.nnI had a receipt before I even got home.nHappy ending but too long and frustrating to get to it.nnWhat would have made it better?n1. A call from Baton Rouge as promised; Baton Rouge did not do me or Enterprise any service here.n2. All of Enterprise Customer Service knowing what they're talking about.n3. Some escalation above Customer Service Escalation; in this situation they were of no help at all.n4. A phone call from someone telling me that they've read this review.

Picked up 3 rental cars in Louisiana. One in Baton Rouge, which had dirty windows and not vacuumed. Picked up 2 at Lake Charles Airport and neither one was vacuumed and both of them only had 3/8 on a fuel tank.nI'm sure all three were not sanitized the way you advertise. The attendants were courteous and respectful.

Didnt have ANY CARS at the airport so my options were either a small pickup truck (toyota Tacoma) or a mini van.
