Budget Car Rental

Incompetent, unprofessional location!!! Company paid for a rental and everything was confirmed and when I go to pickup my car he says I cannot get it because I'm not the person who paid. If this is the policy then I should have been told this when I confirmed. Management needs lots of additional training at this location.

We rented a car from Budget on San Jose in August. We thought we were finished with the experience until 2 months later my credit card was billed $220. When I called I was told it was for the flat tire we had to have fixed. The problem was, it couldn’t be fixed. We waited hours for the tow truck to arrive, only to be told the tire could not be removed due to stripped screws and would need to be towed to the nearest Budget Rental car location. This occurring WITH 3 children as we were on our way out to dinner during our Breast cancer retreat we were chosen for. FINE! We needed another car though....so we had to beg them for an Uber to the airport to pick up our new rental. The catch was, the UBer wouldn’t be requested until the old car was towed. So there we were again waiting for a tow truck. AGAIN, he finally came hours later and guess who was closed. The airport BUdget. It was a total loss of an entire night and next morning. Next morning finally got the Uber, drove over an hour to the airport, got the car, and drove an hour back. TOTAL NIGHTMARE OVER A FLAT TIRE THAT COULDNT BE CHANGED DUE TO THEIR FAULTY EQUIPMENT. And we had to pay $220 2 months later for the flat tire. I’m sorry, but that should be credited to us for going through that nonsense on vacation! A week away from breast cancer with my husband and 3 little ones. Thank you so much Budget, we really appreciate your compassion.

Moe, at this Mandarin location is so helpful, caring and generous. He’s helped my mother when she come in town and the airport gave her a Jeep Wrangler, which I would have loved but it wasn’t for her. He’s help me find car after car and suv and we still use him. We’re so grateful for his help and the reason we keep returning to that location. Budget lucky to have him.

I made a reservation for the budget side of this business online. I'd just left returning a previous rental to another local car rental company because the prices were much higher and the customer service was terrible . I read through reviews and everyone mentioned how great Moe was at this location. When I got to budget Moe helped me right away and he was knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Moe has great customer service skills. Because of Moe, if I ever need another rental car I will come back to budget at this location.

Moe was fantastic to work with! Very professional and very helpful. I have been pleased with every rental I have made with this location.
