Budget Car Rental

do not rent from the Lewiston Budget car rental. No one there when I arrived on my flight. Left in the airport with no transportation or help

WARNING!!! They are not open right now and haven't been for months, but they say they are open and take your reservation!

The GMC was clean. I feel it was a little overpriced for the level of trim. Gas mileage was decent, but power was on the low end when going up hill. Staff was helpful and courteous.

Nothing was explained about additional costs. To make matters worse I questioned the charges and was told I would only be charged my initial payment made with original registration. Asked him what is this extra charge and he wasn't sure. Now I understand that because we picked car up at airport one hour before schedule we were charged $297.88. We would have gladly sat there one hour to avoid this ridiculous charge. He also did not have the VW Jetta or similar size car we had asked to rent (better gas milage) but were given a choice of truck or Jeep. He said it was an upgrade but there was no charge. Is that what the $297.88 was for? Nothing was made very clear and if I had not asked several times for explanation I would feel the fault was mine.

Terrible... called for an hour and no one would even answer the phone...lazy employees
