Rented a car and had a blowout on highway. DID NOT RUN OVER ANY OBJECT. The tire just blew. Called their 800 towing service who put on spare. Upon return had to pay for damage tire and towing. Almost $400. Budget 's 5 responses back and forth was I should have bought the rental insurance..word of caution. Check tires...

It was said they were open and it wasnt open and wasnt able to get a car disappointed of posting of closing times
Made reservation online several days in advance. Did early check in via email received. Upon arrival at pick up time, no cars ready. Car had to be washed and vacuumed while I waited. 1 employee on site. 20 mins later, car is ready but reeks of smoke. I inform employee I need a different car. Had to wait through 2 other customers car washes (approx 40 mins) before employee could get back to me about a different car. Next car was smokey too. No other cars available. Canceled and refunded (had to call company for refund) but wasted 2 hours, no car and no compensation offered by company. Pay more somewhere else.
