Was using an economy car provided by UPS for a business trip. They needed to perform routine maintenance and I let their 800# customer service rep know I could keep the vehicle, if nothing was available to swap, and it was just an FYI for their benefit...I also said I had time and could swap the rental on my way back through FSD. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - both on the phone and at the airport. They quickly swapped out the vehicle and upgraded my rental to a new Chevy Colorado 4-door pickup, at the original rate (saving both the company $ and my time for the business justification). Made the rest of the trip much more safe/comfortable.

Very easy to get a car and return. Great rates and gave us an upgrade for the same price we paid for economy car.

I have been a loyal business traveler to National and recently I rented the highest level vehicle possible from Sioux Falls, and had a trip ruined because of the condition the vehicle was in.nnEnded up stranded and have called over a dozen times over the past month to talk with someone to help resolve the situation. They haven't responded to a single request and then when they did credit back a portion, they only credited half of the issue and never sent me an email or voicemail to inform me.nnI've emailed/called/messaged online to the branch manager and zero communication. National has explained that the issue is at the branch level and it's just really disappointing how they are handling a situation that could be resolved with one phone call.

Around June 20, I landed at Sioux Falls South Dakota airport.nI went to the National desk to pick up my car. I presented myself as an Elite member and they told me that I was not.nWe went back and forth and of course they said I was mistaken.nI got what ever was availablenNow I'm in Tucson AZ and I did not have any problem.nThe National at Tucson airport was spectacular, all that was needed was a red carpet. WOW.nOverall my experience with National is always great.
