Quick service at the counter. The car we reserved was perfect and clean. The drop out was easy and the attendant who greeted us at drop off was very helpful. Awesome experience for a great price!!

Upon arrival I had an issue with my rental with of your competitors (Thrifty) at the CHS location. I immediately made a reservation with Alamo and had no problems. The customer service was delightful and I was able to continue on with my trip. Thank you for making my first visit Charleston SC worry free.

Charleston Alamo was wonderful. Laine was very helpful by giving me an upgrade because of a slight misunderstanding regarding the rental rate. Everyone from check in to rental return was very kind and helpful.. Will use Alamo again when I'm in Charleston, SC.

I made a reservation online and it made my check-in so much smoother. It only took about 5 minutes to check my vehicle out with the Alamo agent. Then I was right out the door for the 5 minute walk to the parking garage where I was met by the nicest young man who assisted me. When I dropped the car off a few days later, I had some trash with me and was looking for a trashcan, and the guy that was taking the vehicle said 'leave it in the car, we'll throw it away. for you' I was shocked at the hospitality and amazing service!

Reserved a Full Size SUV so that my husband and I could make a day trip to Greenville, SC for a doctors appointment with our Surrogate.. We needed a 7 passenger vehicle and had many times before rented a vehicle from Alamo without issue.. We arrived to pickup vehicle and was informed since SC has had such a high rate of people not returning vehicles an additional $300 deposit would be due on top of the rental cost amount.. This additional deposit was not mentioned anywhere on the website during reservation or in the confirmation email we were sent.. We have always returned vehicles to this location with no issue.. We are now left scrambling at the last minute to try and find another option to get a vehicle large enough to get us all to Greenville, SC and back for the day..
