Why was I charged an extra 137.66 for rental that which i reserved and pay in full on 11august.3994831OUSS. I rented my vehicle through AARP.
Ease of getting and returning car. Car was perfect
This location did not have my vehicle ready upon arrival which resulted in my wait up to nearly 1hr after my landing time. I am currently on military orders and had to use personal card to pick up vehicle when military card was activated next day they could not switch cards until vehicle was returned. My rental is two weeks which i have to go with out those financing. Very dissatisfied with Avis in the ability to help out ther customers. Will be taking my business elsewhere along with telling everyone i know Military who rents with Avis.
Even tho I had to wait hours for my vehicle the front counter representative was very pleasant and made sure I got the vehicle I requested. The vehicle was clean and in almost prefect condition. Turned out to be a great experience and they they gave credit for gas for my wait.
We booked via the national Avis number for a rental with the promise of an upgrade. I called the Norfolk office where they confirmed it was indeed in the system. Being someone who always double checks everything is in order, I tried to call the day before (today) and have not been able to get through the entire day. Every option goes to the National number. On top of that, they’re saying all the SUV’s are booked online. I have two kids and a husband I’m traveling with so a compact car won’t work. Not sure what we are going to do...
