Quick and easy rental at a very reasonable rate! Always friendly helpful staff, and the pickup and returns were simple. Highly recommend renting here. Definitely ask for a convertible if the weather looks nice

Rented a car from the Hilton Village location in Honolulu. It is an extremely busy location, so the only thing I would say is it would be nice if there was more than 2 employees working at a time. The process can be long even when you've already prepaid and filled out everything in advance, and there is always a long wait. There is also no Emerald Aisle there, so you have no choice but to wait in line. Even with getting there before they open, there's still a line already. But the service was great, we had no issues with our rental car, and the after hours drop off is nice. I would use them again for sure!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We made an error on our reservation, without realizing, we were supposed to pick up our car the day prior. As emerald members, we asked if there was anything they could do. We were bluntly told they gave our car to someone else and there was nothing they could do. When we spoke to customer service on the phone, she was shocked we didn’t receive a call when we did not show up the day prior. However, she also told us there was nothing she could do. Our whole trip to Oahu revolved around driving and exploring different parts of the island. Will NEVER rent from national EVER again. Hertz was able to get us a car within 5 minutes.

Super convenient location on the Hilton property but very limited hours.nnIf you plan to pick up your car first thing when they open at 8am, be sure to get in line by 7:30am. All 3 days that we had single day rentals, there was a line. The employees are professional and efficient but a line of 10 people with only one employee at the counter can only move so fast.nnThe cars are parked in the hotel garage and there is no one to check you out once you do a walk around so be sure to take thorough notes if any issues to not be charged. It is possible to return after hours no problem since the office closes at noon.nnLastly, be super cautious about leaving belonging out to see when parked around the island. Common sense, but easy to forget too. We parked out car at a busy trailhead (Makapu’u Light House trail) and our friends left their backpack on the backseat... came back from our hike to a smashed window and stolen bag. Our bag in the trunk was untouched. Spent 2hr filing a police report and now having to work through the claim with my credit card company which is no fun. So learn from our rookie mistake!

Overall pretty subpar experience. After issues using my credit card, they were unable to use my Emerald Club profile payment methods or type in my card. I have run into similar card issues before and never had this level of adventure of getting payment cleared as I did here. They also never did a walk through of the car with me. Not a huge deal until they give you half a tank and later charge you a full one. Emerald Club customer service was nevertheless very helpful in getting a credit for this error. Lastly, I'm not expecting to be treated like royalty as an Executive member, but this location made no acknowledgement/statement of appreciation for being a loyal customer (which is pretty much standard protocol for any travel loyalty program) nor offered any sort of upgraded vehicle which is a stated benefit of being Executive. Rent somewhere else.
