Dollar Car Rental

Very helpful staff. The shuttle was on time and the shuttle drive was very helpful with the bags. Getting the car was fast and returning it was just as easy. The car itself was clean. Location was perfect because it was just 6 min away from the airport and there is a Shell station nearby to get gas.

They are the nicest people from checking in to returning. Picking up took about 5min. There was no line. Drop off took about 2mins cause I wanted a receipt. And the car they provided was clean and nice and excellent condition. One thing though not their fault is leaving the airport there is no sign for how to get to dollar you have to go to the rental shuttle pick up dollar/thrifty shuttle is what you want. ud83eudd19ud83cudffd

This has been one of the worst experiences renting a car! We rented and paid online- We arrived at the airport and there were no signs for “dollar rental”but many other company’s were advertised. After walking around for 20 minutes with luggage- we finally see a spot for rental car shuttle pick ups- we watched and waved two “dollar rental shuttles” down and they did not stop. I tried calling three times to make sure we were in the right spot and to see if we needed to call for shuttle. Was not able to speak to anyone! Finally we see another one and waved him down. He brought us to the store and it’s well over and hour wait for a car?!? The line to check in was absurd. This has been awful. Terrible way to start our trip! Big waste of time!

Super easy, hassle free experience. I called the morning of my rental return to see about extending it an extra day, the lady on the phone was so nice and made the process very easy. Will definitely be booking with Dollar on our next trip.

We paid online before we showed up to get the car and thought we might have to wait in a short line to get checked out but we were way wrong. The wait for the shuttle from the airport was 15-20 mins then had to wait 30 mins to talk to someone once we got to the store. The place was packed with people standing around waiting for a car. Once we got checked out we were told it would be a 2 hour wait for a car. 2 freaking hours!!! That was absurd. The actual wait time was a little less than 2 hours but not by much. We even asked about upgrading to another vehicle but nothing was available except a Jeep Wrangler that they wanted to charge us double what we had already paid. The car we did end up with was not super clean but we wanted to get out of there so we just took it. When we checked out were worked out with the employee that we would not be paying for another driver for my wife, which I never had to pay at any other rental car company. When we got the final bill after we returned the car there was a $91 charge for another driver. I feel ripped off by this company and would not recommend them to anyone.
