There are two rental car buses in Honolulu. The Alamo bus is blue and only goes to Alamo. Make sure you get on the correct bus.nAfter arriving at Alamos rental facility we got in a short line and don’t have to wait long. The woman at the front counter was friendly and quick. Maybe it’s because we prepaid with Costco that it didn’t take long. We then stepped outside to see Thomas who let us pick a hybrid car. The car only had 12,000 miles on it but had some damage on the doors and bumper which was noted. A quick stop at the exit and we were off on our Oahu adventure. The car itself drove well but there was a constant squeak coming from the drivers side dash. Other than that everything was fine. We returned the car on our last day which took no time at all. We didn’t wait long for bus back to the airport. Thanks Alamo!

Alamo is a great company to rent from. However, the rental deal I went for wasn’t that great. I should’ve just went for a mid-size car rather then the mystery deal (compact or larger) I had. The compact car assigned was way to small for my family although it was a great gas saver I know next time to just go for the size car I want.

Check in was easy through the app and the pick up was ready when I got there. I had several to choose from and all were in great condition. All of the employees were respectful, courteous, and quick. And the drop off was even easier than the pick up!

2021- MarchnnWe used Alamo through our Costco membership.nnFrom the HNL airport, you have to take the shuttle which came in less than 5 minutes.nnThere were a couple of people in front of us but the line went through pretty quick (less than 10 minutes). The staff was nice. The car we received was brand new (it only had 9 miles).nnIt was a breeze from the start to finish.nnHave fun driving!

Alamo has been great to work with. They're understanding and helpful and have great car selections. I've never felt like I'm getting the bare minimum car whenever I've rented from them. At this location especially they were very friendly and accommodating.
