I had to wait to pick up the car as the outside window was not open I'm sure because of current circumstances. But the staff was efficient and I drove off pretty quickly. Return was pretty swift as well

I have rented with National for many years, I am a executive member and have been executive elite in the past that how much I rent with National. This is the first time I am unsatisfied with a rental. I rented a premium car today and choose a Nissan maxima when I got to the car it was dirty and it had big brown spots on the hood and side of the car. I spoke to the guy outside about it and he said their car wash is not working good and that he can run it back thru but once it’s dry it will be the same. He said it happens it normal wear and tear. I told him if I wanted car like this I would go to the enterprise in walking distance from me instead of driving all the way to the airport. I went back inside to change the car my only other option was a Chevron this one don’t have the brown spots but it’s just as dirty. They said they clean the car but the little pocket on the driver door that you hold on to close the door couldn’t have been clean it had white crumbs in it, other part of the inside was dirty. When I first enter the car it smelled like cigarettes then I saw a cigarette burned area. I know we in a pandemic but that shouldn’t make me feel uncomfortable in a rental.

I am having incredible difficulty in talking to someone who can check my rented car's eyeglass compartment for a very expensive pair of glasses I left behind. National Customer Service is unable to contact the office, lostreturns.com is of no help, the office never replies to my voicemails. I am at wits end as to how to deal with this problem. No one seems to care. The glasses are worth $600+.nEDIT: A National Car Rental person responded and asked that I contact their customer care line at care@ but this is literally what I did at the start, and now the people answering their email don't even bother to read my detailed post, but instead ask me to file with lost and found! Unreal!

Service wasn't the best when I picked the car, I don't know if they were backed up at that time or what but my car had a low pressure tire and the oil change light on since 10 min after I left the airport. I spoke about this with the station manager and on my next visit the service was much better.nnOverall I will recommend this location. During the winter be prepared since the counters are in the underground level in the middle, it can be a little bit cold while you pick the car.
