Went to the hertz on route 59 in Plainfield, IL.nThe prices were great. However, did not have much cars, did not inform us with basic information. My biggest complaint was the IPAss, they should of said if you have one to use yours not the one in the vehicle.nLuckily, the day i returned the vehicle, I asked these questions, then went home and added the plate number to my account for the days I rented the vehicle. These are important info to give to a customer.

DO NOT use this place for car reservations. Very shady people. Had a reservations for a vehicle which I placed a couple months in advance. They call me 2 days before my trip and the day I was supposed to pick up to cancel on me because they didn't have any vehicles for me to use. 2 days before. Why wait 2 days before. I got screwed. Now I can't find anything anywhere on such short notice. I wish I would've used another company. Called customer service and they were no help. Very bad business. Now I know to never use Hertz again.

Very poor customer service. My wife called and scheduled a midsized car for us. When we showed up the next morning at our scheduled time for the midsized car we were told would be ready for us, it wasn't there. He tried to give us a compact car instead. We told him that we can't take a smaller car. He said he would call and let us know when one would be available. Thus was a week ago. No call or car from Hertz yet. We went to Enterprise and had a midsized car the next day.
