Budget Car Rental

This was the 2nd time I tried to rent with budget. Every location has different rules and the policies were not the same as when I booked online. It seemed like they were more willing to rent cars for uber and lyft drivers then to regular people. Only plus was that I was able to get a full refund both times.

If renting a car is what you need then give budget a call. This rental started out a little shakey. I got to the baltimore office and they did not have a car for me. They did have multiple locations. So I went about 4 miles away and near boston st I went. The rental process was easy and off I went. My trip was supposed to be one way and I was supposed to be picking up my new car. I got there and the company selling car ends up being a high class , great looking , scam auto sales. They said excellent condition just serviced , no warning lights. The car had 9 warning lights from brake pads to air bag to service engine now. The car was empty on gas and I was supposed to give them 11k. Well I didn't get car and had to extend my rental. Budget is fair they worked with me and by far one of the best rental agencies I've ever dealt with. Enterprise was a complete nightmare. But budget rental was delightful and respectful and willing to keep me happy with a few extensions and never made me feel uncomfortable. They felt bad for me and the headaches I endured over the trip. My drive was 20 hrs one way and I had work to complete on way home which caused more delay. But they stood by me and made my life easy. So if you need a rental due to a accident or just need one. Call Budget they are 1st class act. I have literally told about 17 people who were affected by the south florida auto sale that budget was only reason I didn't completely loose my mind and composure. Thank you budget and you will see us anytime we need a rental. I can not say the same about one of our partners rental. She went through enterprise and paid dearly. She was unhappy and treated like a bag of schwag

Do not rent a truck from Budget. UHaul is cheaper, has better customer service, and can actually guarantee your truck.nnI rented a truck from budget a week in advance. The day before I got a call telling me they didn't know where my trick was and that I would have to call customer service. I called customer service and was told someone would be in contact with me from inventory within the hour. An hour later without being called, I called back only to learn that inventory was closes and I would receive a call at 10 am the next day. 10 am the next day l, having not received a call I called back and was told I would get a call within two hours. During this time I called the Boston street location several times in five-minute intervals and they did not pick up each time. I then went there to check if the truck came in, just in case - which it had not. I received a call 2 hours later from the truck inventory telling me that they had secured a truck for me for the next day. An inconvenience, yes, but I could make it work.nnThe next day I again called 3 times to confirm that they had my truck as I had been made cautious by my previous day’s experience. Each time they did not pick up. When I had made it there, they told me that the truck had an engine light and could not be driven. They did not bother to call me to cancel my booking and claimed that because they had a whole 5 reservations that day they did not have the ability to pick up my call. I then had to pay for an Uber to get back home to sleep on a blow-up mattress because I could not move my mattress.nnToday I called customer service and to their credit they have offered my $50 in compensation in a check that will be delivered in 14 - 21 days. If I get my check I’ll delete this review even though it's small compensation for the hours and emotional energy wasted, let alone the Uber drive back home.

I had a good experience dealing with Mimmi Fissiha she gave beyond the normal for customer service.I appreciate her positive attitude from the time I enter the business.. I will be doing business with her again
