Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The guys that work at the Essex Enterprise Car Rental store in Essex are the best professional, caring team of men that provided me with a very good experience during a very trying time. My brand new car was totaled and they were sensitive to my situation. They came to my house to pick me up when I didn't have a way to their store and put me in a very nice clean newer model car with the safety features I was accustomed too. Everyone of these guys provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this store if you're in need of a rental and I will definitely go to them should I ever need a rental again.nSincerelynJ. Deugenio

Had to put my personal vehicle in a auto shop for a repair, and needed to rent me a vehicle for a few days until my car was ready to be picked up from the auto shop.nWent to this Enterprise in Essex Md and attempted to rent a car, but was told by a gentleman name Keagan I believe (who was very nice and professional) that their system did not recognize my address (the address where I live, and that is clearly on my drivers license).nNeedless to say that I was so confused and frustrated by this.nAt any rate, the gentleman told me due to this issue, I would have to now provide a current utility bill, and a current pay stub.nWell, due to the fact that I live in an apartment building where all utilities are included in the rent, I have no utility bills to provide. Also, due to the fact that I'm currently receiving unemployment, I have no current pay stubs to provide.nSo in the end, I was not able to rent a vehicle from this particular enterprise though I had my drivers license, and my bank card with the necessary funds on it.nI ended up leaving there and going to Budget Car Rental where I had no problem what so ever, and renting a very nice vehicle.nAt Budget Car Rental, they had no issue with their system recognizing my address, in which for the life of me, I can't see why Enterprise did, I mean it's not like I live in some rural area, I live in a major city (Washington DC to be exact), and I live on a main street there.nNeedless to say, if I'm ever in need of a rental car in the future again, it will definitely be Budget Car Rental for me, and I highly recommend Budget Car Rental.

I rented a car when I arrived at the Essex location they had no cars available except one. Well I tooknThat car and it broke down 4 hours down the road. After sitting for a hour until the locations I was told to pick up another car. I received a Chevy Camaro 2020. Well after my bday weekend I was headed home 11 hour drive I stop at a rest stop at 3am rushin I some how left the key. I have a push to start tht i drive regularly and when it’s no key detected. Well I drove home with no alert that the key was notnIn the car. After arriving 3.7 hours later the car cut off once I realized I didn’t have the key. I drove back with my car twice with no luck in recovering the key. Why does a 2020 not alert you when it’s no key? Now I’m responsible for a key I didn’t know I didn’t have. I called Chevy and was informed the car should have alerted me... Thanks enterprise ud83dude44

If i could give negative stars, i would! This place is full of disgruntled employees especially the manger. They did not wear their masks properly and do not practice social distancing. Secondly, they will lie to you and put additional charges on your account because obviously they do not do well at this store and fraudulently charge customers to make up for this. Do not rent a car from this location. I would opt to just find another car rental company altogether!!!

The manger Deonte was awful. He fraudulently charged me and when i complained he called me back and was extremely rude to me and used racial slurs. Very unprofessional. I have reported him to the FTC and BBB. Avoid this location and company at all costs! You Will regret the unprofessionalism here. When they picked me up the employee was playing loud dub step music and chewing like a cow and not wearing a mask. I have also reported them to the health department for not following covid-19 protocols.
