This was the worst rental car experience I ever had. First of all you do not have your own person checking people in at Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport so I had to wait in line for 1 1/2 hours. Then I had to wait another half hour before my car was ready. I arrived in New Orleans about 1:00 with no luggage and went immediately to the car rental area. I had a return flight at 4:30 PM so I felt I had plenty of time to take care of business and get back. I was so wrong as I did not get my car until after 3:00 and barely made my return flight. Terrible service!!! The previous week I was in Tampa Florida and got a car from Hetz which took 5 minutes.

My parents had a very bad experience with payless rental car..they charge them $693 for a rental for 3 days and thats not including the deposit.i truly felt like they price gauge them because they've neva flew before and didnt kno about rental cars at an airport..it was truly disgusting for them to do this.i will neva rent or refer anyone eles rent from them

Biggest rip off ever! Got stuck with a car that sounded like the wheels were about to fall off. Could never reach anyone at the office to resolve the issue. Had to drive a car I thought would breakdown on me! Then get hit with $50.00 toll administration for a $1.00 toll. Definitely disputing. All after the receptionist lied and told me I HAD to purchase their insurance even though I had my own coverage plus Amex coverage. Horrible company!

We were in Biloxi ms with our flights started delaying and canceling due to hurricane. We spent all day calling payless to see if we could drive car back to Atlanta without incurring the 308.00 fee. We could have drove and rented again cheaper but our hotel was making us vacate and we didn’t think we should drive hour and half back to New Orleans then back to start trip to Atlanta. No one would help us! No one would even try! We were being forced to leave the area and all we asked was them to rent the car to us at the same rate they would if we could have made it in. Instead we wasted one of the days in already cut short vacation dealing with the same results!

Payless is charging me for damage to a vehicle I did not cause. Unfortunately, I did not take “before” pictures, but I know the damage was not created while I was in possession.
