Avis Car Rental

I was a frequent AVIS customer for 8 years until I started using this location. I wasted both time and money because of their incorrect posted signage, and the manager was not only unapologetic, but annoyed that I believed his signs. That was not my first unpleasant experience here, but it will be my last. Hertz has gained a customer because of this location.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The lady at the counter at 4pm on 9/26 tried to rob me by over charging me because she didn't want to do her job. I came to return my keys and asked if she wanted to check the gas or if I could have a receipt all while she was on her phone and there was no one else around. When I asked for a receipt again, she told me the original one I had was enough and everything was fine.nnLater in the day I see I was charged an additional day and had to call to see when I supposedly returned it and it was an hour after the actual time of return.

This AVIS agency is the WORST we've ever been to. Customer service is TERRIBLE, the manager and his team are extremely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Carefully read your contract before signing anything, because they're thieves: trying to make people think they are required to pick an option... LIES! Plus workers there are always on their phone, not paying attention, not even a smile, and the car was so dirty, dust and dirt and oily fingerprints everywhere. Definitely avoid this place.

Terrible customer service! They can't even follow basic instructions. Annoying and rude employees. I would said a lot more but I don't think they care at all!

My spouse was trying to get home (family occurrence)and found that an error had been made with our regular rental car company but would not be able to get it cleared up until the next day(which it was cleared up). He was forced to use another rental car company and he used Avis because he had to travel that night. He was trying to get the car in and it had been a long day/night already and he was under quite a bit of stress and literally forgot to put gas in the car. When he realized the mistake he had made, he went to ask for the keys and the man at the counter said, rudely, “ I closed it out and it’s nothing I can do. “ Even the man that checked the car in, didn’t say anything about it being full... he just checked it in and told the man at the counter what the gas hand was on. Usually, the rep ask if the gas hand was on E or full when you picked it up just so you’ll be aware of the consequences of not having a full tank. That’s been our experience when we turn a car in. What would have been a $115 charge turned into an almost $300 charge due ($9 a gal and it wasn’t on E )to the tank not being full. He was trying to get the keys back to fill it up but the rep at the counter wasn’t having it. He asked for the manager and he didn’t want to give any information. He was extremely rude and rather unprofessional. We had considered getting a corporate account with Avis but after this treatment, we will not be seeking business with the company. We rent cars frequently and trust me, you CAN forget about the gas tank at times but usually the reps help out by reminding you because it could be you really FORGOT to do it. I see the other complaints and I’m not shocked the rating is what it is. Customer service goes a VERY long way. Avis will be a last resort if we’re ever in a pinch and as far as a corporate account is concerned, don’t see that happening.
