Avis Car Rental

Terrible experience renting at this place. First car given to me had maintenance indicator light on. Then the replacement car had the check engine light on. They didn’t have any more car for me to try so they asked me to go to the downtown location where I finally got one without any problem. So it took me at least an hour to finally get a car. The one star rating is for the agent who showed enough courtesy to deal with the issue.nBottomline, I suggest going straight to the downtown location if you need a rental around NOLA.

Convinient location but they rely on cars being shuttled for the airport. I showed up 45 minutes before my reservation and was told the vehicle would be here in 30 minutes. 1.5 hrs later (30 minutes after my reservation) and we are still waiting for the airport avis to send over any vehicle.nnAdded one star back because the check-in process was quick and easy

New location according to the nice staff. The desk is in the mall itself. I only returned at this location. You can leave the car close to the Avis sign on the parking lot, where Google Maps leads you. There’s no dedicated parking as they’re still discussing this with the mall.

Top knotch service. Alex was very patient and took his time explaining my rental agreement.

Do not rent from this place. Poor customer service. The guy who works here doesn’t even have common courtesy. He keeps customers waiting while he jokes outside with his friends.
